Experience:3-5+ years
We are looking for a confident middle or a qualified senior PHP developer. The biggest tasks at hand include bringing existing products to Laravel, and developing new blockchain-analytics products and features.
Responsibilities
- Backend development (PHP / Laravel - we use the latest versions (PHP8, Laravel 10.x))
- Deep-backend development - for example, uploading info from blockchain nodes to Postgres, from which the API will subsequently take data
Requirements
- Good knowledge and confident experience of using PHP/Laravel
- Experience in working with databases; building and optimizing SQL queries
- Understanding of the principles of building secure and expandable information systems (SOLID, KISS, DRY - we do not cling to terms, but we share the principles)
- Writing code that is understandable to other developers, and the ability to write its related documentation (or the API changelog)
- Teamwork skills - we share the Agile principles where people and interactions are more important than processes and tools, and a working product is more important than its comprehensive documentation
Strong plus
- A basic understanding of the blockchain technology concepts is a plus, but the lack of such experience is not a big issue
- Written and spoken English (part of the team speaks English and it is also the main interface language)
