Cboe BZX Seeks SEC Nod for Ethereum ETF Staking 📝
Cboe BZX Exchange has filed a proposal with the SEC to permit staking for the 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF. This marks the first such filing with the SEC, outlined in Form 19b-4, and is pending regulatory approval. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart highlighted that this could signify a shift in SEC policy, as firms were previously encouraged to exclude staking from ETFs.
