Crypto community optimism grows as XRP ETF approval appears likely following Ripple's resolution with the SEC. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse announced the SEC's decision to drop its appeal against Ripple, ending a $1.3 billion lawsuit. Nate Geraci predicts SEC approval of an XRP ETF soon, with participation from asset managers like BlackRock and Fidelity.
On Polymarket, bettors place an 86% probability that an XRP ETF will be approved by the SEC by Dec. 31, 2025, with current market volume reaching $55,000. Polymarket's predictions have historically been accurate, often exceeding 90% accuracy.
Despite the legal victory, XRP's price only marginally increased by 5%. Analysts believe the market had already anticipated the outcome of Ripple's multi-year legal battle with the SEC.
