ERC20 honeypot tokens have infiltrated the trending lists on several platforms including GMGN, DEXTools, and DEX Screener. This issue was brought to light by Twitter user @roffett_eth and subsequently reported by COINOTAG on September 25.

Honeypot tokens are a type of scam where the token entices users to invest, only to trap their funds.
