DMM Bitcoin, a notable cryptocurrency exchange in Japan, is set to liquidate its assets with the help of SBI Group due to a significant fraud incident.

This decision follows the occurrence of a $320 million scam in May 2024, impacting more than 450,000 accounts on the platform.

The exchange will halt its operations entirely after the completion of the liquidation process.
