Bank of America backs 4% crypto allocation cap, ending adviser restrictions and adding bitcoin ETF coverage: report 🏦
Bank of America is now advising its wealth management clients to consider allocating up to 4% of their investment portfolios to cryptocurrencies. This shift in strategy comes as the bank plans to initiate Chief Investment Office (CIO) coverage of four bitcoin ETFs starting in early 2026.
The decision marks a significant move for Bank of America as it ends restrictions on crypto allocations, allowing its wealth advisers to provide more comprehensive guidance on digital assets.
