Metaplanet, often called Japan’s MicroStrategy, has launched an innovative shareholder reward program in partnership with SBI VC Trade. This initiative aims to distribute Bitcoin to its shareholders, with a total value of 30 million yen.

Through this program, 2,350 shareholders are set to receive Bitcoin rewards ranging from ¥10,000 to ¥100,000. The news of the program significantly impacted Metaplanet's stock price, causing it to soar by more than 6%, with shares surpassing $2,450.

The move is part of Metaplanet's strategic efforts to strengthen its Bitcoin holdings and boost shareholder engagement. This program highlights the company's commitment to leveraging Bitcoin as a value-adding asset for its shareholders.
