A recent CoinGecko survey found that 40% of crypto participants are optimistic about the future of crypto AI products and token prices by 2025. However, there is still significant uncertainty within the community, reflecting a divided sentiment.

The survey, conducted from February 20 to March 10, 2025, collected responses from 2,632 crypto enthusiasts worldwide. Results showed that 46.9% were bullish about crypto AI products and technology, indicating confidence in the sector's growth potential. Yet, 24.1% expressed bearish sentiments, highlighting skepticism over AI's immediate prospects.

Citing improved integration of AI with crypto, CoinGecko’s Yuqian Lim noted the growing enthusiasm. Nonetheless, 44.3% were optimistic about crypto AI prices, while 26.4% leaned towards pessimism. Notably, 29% of participants maintained a neutral stance, possibly reflecting an expectation for AI to progress beyond conceptual stages. Differences in sentiment varied across adoption groups, with late adopters showing the strongest bearish feelings.

The survey emerged during a challenging period for the sector, following a significant decline after earlier peaks this year. Market catalysts recently failed to generate momentum, demonstrated by declining AI coin market cap post-Nvidia's GTC conference. A minor sector recovery was observed with a 4.3% rise attributed to the Fed's decision on US interest rates.
