Trump-Backed World Liberty Financial Moves $212 Million in ETH to Coinbase Prime 💼
World Liberty Financial, a decentralized finance project backed by Donald Trump, has transferred a sizeable amount of Ethereum holdings worth $212 million to Coinbase Prime. The transfer, encompassing $307.4 million across various assets, has fueled speculation in the crypto community.
Amid transactions, Eric Trump advocated buying ETH, triggering a price surge to nearly $2,900, while World Liberty Financial's asset management was clarified as regular treasury activity. The move included Wrapped Bitcoin, Chainlink, Aave, Ethena, Movement, Ondo, and USDC among others, with USDC being the largest holding.
World Liberty Financial emphasized the transfers were not token sales but standard treasury management steps, discouraging unwarranted speculation in the market.
