Volatility Shares launching Solana futures ETFs March 20 📈
Volatility Shares is introducing two Solana futures exchange-traded funds (ETFs), the SOLZ and the 2X Solana ETF (SOLT), on March 20. The launch follows the debut of SOL futures contracts by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
The SOLZ will have a management fee of 0.95% until June 2026, which will then increase to 1.15%, while the SOLT, offering double leverage, will have a fee of 1.85%.
The initiative represents a significant development for Solana in the US market amid a shift in investor interest towards digital assets and following recent leadership changes at the SEC.
The introduction of SOL futures signals a maturing market for Solana, positioning it as an important player in real-world use cases like payments, and offering institutional investors new avenues for engagement.
