SEC Reviews BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF In-Kind Redemption Proposal 📈
BlackRock has put forward a proposal to enable in-kind redemptions for its Bitcoin ETF, allowing authorized participants to receive actual Bitcoin instead of cash when redeeming their shares.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently reviewing this proposal. Additionally, there will be a 21-day public comment period after the proposal is published in the Federal Register, before any decision is made.
