Bitcoin could hit $210K in 2025, says Presto research head 📈
Peter Chung, head of research at the quantitative trading firm Presto, has reiterated his prediction that Bitcoin will reach $210,000 by the end of 2025. He cites institutional adoption and global liquidity expansion as key drivers for this bullish outlook.
Despite challenging market conditions this year, Chung views recent market corrections as "healthy" adjustments, establishing a stronger foundation for Bitcoin's progression towards mainstream acceptance as a financial asset.
Chung emphasizes Bitcoin's dual nature, acting as both a high-risk asset and a safe-haven similar to gold, particularly during financial instability. He maintains confidence in Bitcoin's potential to outperform traditional assets.
Additionally, Presto remains optimistic about Ethereum's advancement, reflecting through their target for Ether based on the ETH-to-BTC ratio.
Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley further supports this view by pointing out Bitcoin’s rally to $94,000 has been primarily driven by institutional investors, with minimal retail participation.
