Bitcoin trades at ‘40% discount’ as spot BTC ETF buying soars to $3B in one week 💸
Bitcoin is reportedly trading at a 40% discount compared to its intrinsic value. Data indicates a surge in spot BTC ETF buying, reaching $3 billion in just one week. Over 36,000 Bitcoin were withdrawn from major exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance, suggesting potential institutional involvement.
The founder of Capriole Investments, Charles Edwards, highlighted that Bitcoin's energy value currently stands at $130,000 post the April 2024 halving. Negative netflows from exchanges such as Coinbase may point towards significant institutional buying.
Despite these developments and Bitcoin's weekly performance marking its highest returns in 2025, experts advise caution. Analyst Joao Wedson noted that substantial outflows, by themselves, do not guarantee a continued Bitcoin rally, referencing past market events.
Further analysis suggests Bitcoin's fractal pattern could push its price above $100,000, but overhead resistance at $96,100 could impede this breakout. Historic data shows that despite such bullish patterns, outcomes remain uncertain.
