Bitcoin Dips to $83.5K as Profit-Taking and Tariff Fears Hit Crypto Market 📉
Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a significant decline, falling over 3% to approximately $83,500 on Wednesday, retreating from its previous high above $84,200 noted on Tuesday. The dip came as Asian markets engaged in profit-taking, influencing the broader cryptocurrency market.
The total market capitalization dropped by 3.3% in the past day, with Ethereum (ETH) and Cardano (ADA) experiencing even deeper losses, sliding as much as 5%. Additionally, XRP saw a decline, despite ProShares amending its spot XRP ETF filing on Tuesday, planning an April 30 launch in the U.S. This move is viewed as a positive long-term signal even amidst short-term bearish trends.
